Leslie Kemp-"Mama Les"

I was born and raised in Oceanside, CA. I graduated from Oceanside High School in 1975 and my dream was to move to Hawaii. I lived and worked over there for almost ten years and attended Kauai Community College.
The ocean was my passion and I spent most of my time surfing, bodysurfing, paddling canoe and kayaking. I became a Christian at the age of 21 while living on Kauai.
I began serving with FCA in 2003 working under Donnie Dee who was the Southern California Regional Director. I now serve in the San Diego County office with Colin Sinclair. I love kids and my desire is for kids to KNOW and LOVE our Gracious and Mighty LORD! It is such a blessing to be part of this ministry, work with great staff and watch God build His kingdom on campuses.
After all these years, I am affectionately known as "Mama Les." My husband Steve and I have 3 children, Molly 33, Shannon 28, and Rhett 23, and a grandson Jabe, 9. We attend North Coast Church in Vista.
